No holiday dinner is complete without a heaping bowl of crispy roasted potatoes! If you’re looking for something a little bit more different but still delicious, try using red za’atar as your seasoning. The flavor of red za’atar is a little more citrusy and tangy than green za’atar but pairs well with the sweetness of yukon potatoes.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 lbs. Yukon Gold potatoes
  • 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tsp. Talia’s Red Za’atar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Wash the potatoes well and cut into 1/2 inch cubes.
  3. Add the potatoes into a large mixing bowl with olive oil. Sprinkle with the za’atar, salt, and pepper. Mix well to coat.
  4. Pour the potatoes onto the baking sheet.
  5. Place the baking sheet on the lowest rack of the oven, then preheat to 425°F.
  6. Roast for 30-35 minutes or until the potatoes are golden brown. Stir the potatoes halfway through.
