No holiday dinner is complete without a heaping bowl of crispy roasted potatoes! If you’re looking for something a little bit more different but still delicious, try using red za’atar as your seasoning. The flavor of red za’atar is a little more citrusy and tangy than green za’atar but pairs well with the sweetness of yukon potatoes.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 lbs. Yukon Gold potatoes
- 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tsp. Talia’s Red Za’atar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
Instructions:
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Wash the potatoes well and cut into 1/2 inch cubes.
- Add the potatoes into a large mixing bowl with olive oil. Sprinkle with the za’atar, salt, and pepper. Mix well to coat.
- Pour the potatoes onto the baking sheet.
- Place the baking sheet on the lowest rack of the oven, then preheat to 425°F.
- Roast for 30-35 minutes or until the potatoes are golden brown. Stir the potatoes halfway through.
